Wilderness, Swimming, Fishing, we’ve got it all!

Situated in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula just 25 miles south of the Lake Superior shoreline and 2 1/2 miles southeast of the city of Gwinn, this quaint 670 square foot cedar log cottage rests on the south shore of beautiful East Bass Lake.

Driving to the cottage you leave the pavement behind and enter a two mile long wilderness area.  Upon your arrival, you'll discover the cottage nestled in a six acre wooded lot with a terrific panoramic view of the lake.  A firm, gradually sloping sandy lake bottom makes it an ideal place for you and your family to swim and engage in all types of water sports and fishing.

The kitchen is fully equipped with table service for six and newer appliances including a refrigerator, gas range/oven, dishwasher and microwave.  The living room is complemented by a flat screen LCD TV and DVD player.  Heat is provided by an eco-friendly bio fuel pellet stove featuring a glass-front door for fire viewing.  There is an attached utility room with a full size washer and dryer.

The cottage is ideally suited for two to four people (sleeps four max).  There is one formal bedroom with queen bed, as well as one comfortable sleeper sofa located in the front sitting room.  A front dining room affords a panoramic view of the lake.  Towels and linens are provided as well as one 14' aluminum rowboat and oars.
